I pay attention to the running balance on my checking account. It drives me nuts that every time I make a debit the running balance shows in red no matter how much of a positive balance remains.

The balance color should indicate a positive or negative balance: green for a positive one and red for a negative one.

Could you please make that change.

That is on our requested feature list and will be given a +1. Thanks for the feedback!

I have to agree... It is very annoying to have a positive balance, yet it appears in red. I just started using Checkbook Pro today, and this was very confusing to me.

Or blue for a positive one and red for a negative one for the 10% of us with red-green colour blindness :)

We're planning on changing the coloration for the Balance column, since the red Balance tends to worry people.

If you're having trouble seeing the default green for Deposits, you can change it to blue in CheckBook's Preferences. Just choose 'Preferences...' from the CheckBook menu at the top of the screen. Then, click the square beside where it says 'Deposit color' in the General section to change the color to something else.
