Hi,

I just recently discovered CheckBook after it was featured in a Mac
magazine here in the UK. I currently use MoneyDance but don't really
like the clunky Java interface, so when I saw CheckBook I started to
think about switching over.

But after reading these message boards it seems to lack a few features
which I have come to depend on.

I was wondering if the developers could tell me if any of these features
are being worked on (or maybe they are supported already and I just
don't know it :-)

1, I need to track current accounts in foreign currencies as well as my
own local currency. BUT I usually like to keep each country's accounts
in a separate file, so each file only has to deal with a single currency.
CheckBook seems to always use the MacOS system currency for all
accounts. Is it possible to specify which currency to use for each data file?

2, It is a real pain to have to maintain type/category lists for each account.
These should really be shared between all the accounts in a file I think.
This probably needs a major re-work to implement it, so I just wondered
if it is planned?

It looks like a great application, with a very nice interface, I would love
to switch over to it if it can meet my needs.

Thanks,

Charlie.
