Great program. I'm seriously very impressed.

Here is a feature request that is quite a tall order. It would be great if you could have multiple copies of CheckBook, one on a laptop and one on a desktop, for example, that would sync changes. That way, one could view and make changes, similar to managing calendar changes on iCal. It would need to be a true sync, such that changes made at home and on the road at nearly the same time would be reflected. Again, tough programming goal, but possible. This would be VERY useful and make CheckBook a true standout from other account management software.

Syncing between two or more Macs would be a great addition to CheckBook - and it would be an interesting logistical challenge. CheckBook's Transfers would be the most problematic piece, as they depend on each Entry's unique ID number. Having the current version of CheckBook on two Macs at once would bring about two overlapping sets of these ID numbers, so a scheme of ensuring they were truly unique would be necessary - and might mean changing ID numbers from integers to strings. Types would be a similar challenge, since they are also referenced by a unique ID number throughout each Account.

We've had this feature in the back of our minds for a while yet and if it can happen it probably will given enough time. Thanks for telling us it's important to you!

I would love the addition of being able to Sync Checkbook between 2 or more Macs.

Checkbook is terrific. Being able to sync would make it perfect!
