Hi Folks,

Loving me the CBP app for years!

It started crashing while double clicking the account (right pane) when an auto payment notification happens on the account.

Any ideas? Anyone else? I must force quit the app.

MacBook Air M2
Ventura 13.4

Hi Joseph,

Do you mean you're double-clicking the red and white badge that appears on an Account's icon when scheduled Entries are due? We gave that a few tests here but the Schedule Reminder appeared the way you'd expect. You mentioned crashing, but then said you needed to force quit. Are you seeing an error message, instead? If so, could you send the error message to support@splasm.com so we can start working with you through email? Thanks!

Exactly, yes.

Yes, for example, I had three Red/White badges. The first two double clicks and approvals worked, but the third one 'crashed' it. I could not do anything then. There was a translucent image under the checkbook that seemed to be part of CBP. But the only way to move forward is to force quit. This has been happening for the last few updates. Happens on both my MacBook Air (M2) and MacMini (M1)

Are you seeing an error message, instead?
No error message or anything. I just sent an email as well.

Thanks!!

Hi Joseph,

We think we’ve been able to reproduce the hang/crash you’re seeing there by setting up two Accounts with different currency formats, such as “$ 100.00” and “€ 100.00”, then opening the Schedule Reminder in each Account. The fix is already in testing and will be part of the next update. If you need the fix in the meantime, get in touch at support@splasm.com and we’ll make a pre-release build available for you. Thanks again for reporting the issue, Joseph!
