There is indeed a way, at least in the Pro version. Just click the All Accounts option up at the top of the Accounts drawer, go up to click the Account menu at the top of the screen, and select the New Smart Folder menu option, to get started. Then, set the Smart Folder criteria to Date is between, with the desired date range applied on the right. Once you hit OK, you'll see a value displayed beside your new Smart Folder's name, in the Accounts drawer, that represents a total of all the entries in all of your Accounts for the applied date range. (Do keep in mind that this value won't include any Starting Balance values applied to your Accounts, so you might choose to remove the Starting Balances from all of your Accounts and add entries with Amounts matching the Starting Balances to them, instead.)
