Is it possible to go back to a debit entry that has been reconciled and add splits to it?

CheckBook (Pro) prevents users from adding split lines to Reconciled entries because of the risk doing so creates for compromising the Reconciliation. Basically, to edit or add splits to any Reconciled entry, it’s necessary Unreconcile the entire account.

Luckily, you can easily re-reconcile an Account after Unreconciling it, so long as the overall Amount of your altered entry doesn’t change and if you uncheck any and all active, Resolved checkboxes, beforehand—essentially, this means making it where only grayed-out, Reconciled checkmarks are in place. Also, you’ll need to leave the Statement Balance alone. But, anyway, you can go up to click the Account menu at the top of the screen and select the Unreconcile menu option, when you’re ready to Unreconcile the account.

Thank you! That is exactly what I need. I don't want to change the balance or any of the entry amounts, just add detail (a step I skipped when I made the entry). I appreciate your quick reply.
