I can see the present total for all accounts in Checkbook.

I would like to go back in time and see what the total was on March 31 or December 31, 2020, or July 31, 2015. Is there a way to run a report that would do so in Checkbook or Checkbook Pro?

It's easy to create a custom Summary for a specific date range that subtotals the entire date range, then the balance as of the end date will be displayed at the bottom. This works the same in CheckBook and CheckBook Pro, wherein you'd simply head to the Summary section and hit the New button, to get started. Then, you'll focus on the Date Range options at the top and the Subtotal Per option, toward the bottom of the Summary options sheet.
