Date wrong and Accounts not visible

Post subject:  Date wrong and Accounts not visible
So I downloaded the trial version of CheckBook Pro and wanted to enter my first deposit.
After setting up 2 Accounts (Checking, Credit Card) I wanted to enter my first deposit on my checking account.

After I click on Deposit I get a drop down and the date is set on the 04/28/2019? Why? My date and time settings are set correctly and I don't get why this happens.

Secondly, If I want to Deposit Money into my Credit Card account and I press deposit, I can't select any account from the FROM drop down.
Any idea why that all happens?

If you'd like the current date to be used automatically for new entries, there's a change you can make in the Preferences area. Just go to the CheckBook (Pro) menu at the top of the screen, select the Preferences menu option, click Entry and select the Set Date to Today option, below where it says "When Adding Entries".

Also, to transfer funds from an existing account, try clicking the word "From" and selecting "From Account", instead. After that, the From field will become a menu button that can be used for selecting the other account involved in the transfer.
