Just moved over from Windows to macOS. Was using Quicken. Can I bring my Quicken data over to Checkbook Pro on the Mac by using a Quicken backup file? I believe it is a QDF file.

It’s usually easy to add Quicken data to CheckBook Pro, but first the data needs to be in the proper transfer format (meanwhile, QDF is a proprietary Quicken file type). So, you’ll want to open everything up in Quicken and export to QIF or QMTF by using the Export option found under Quicken’s File menu. After that, it’s just a matter of copying the QIF/QMTF over to the Mac, going to CheckBook Pro and choosing the Import > QIF or QMTF... option from the File menu at the top of the screen to begin adding the exported information to the currently selected Account.
