| Post subject: | Delete Specific Recurring Item? |
Sometimes a specific recurring item needs to be removed. It hasn't happened or was taken care of independently. Even though it is not needed, it shows up in the suggest list of recurring items. How can I remove that one item? Thank you for a great product that has kept me sane  ,

Do you want to move just one occurrence or the entire series? Basically, you can end a recurring item by editing the end date and then you can delete the item if you wish. Posted transactions will not be affected. I am not in front of my computer just now, so cannot help with deleting one occurrence, except to just let it be posted and then delete it from your transactions list. |

Thanks, prider. That's a way to change things, but I wanted to keep; the original date which was five years ago. Time flies. I also thought of just accepting the suggested occurrence and then deleting it. Thank you again for the quick reply and opening up potential within CheckBook Pro. |

If you go to the Schedule menu at the top of the screen and select the Scheduled Entries menu item, you can then delete any upcoming Scheduled Entry. Basically, just selecting any item, hitting the Remove button, and then clicking OK will do the trick. |
