I noticed that after upgrading to Leopard that when Highlighting an entry in Checkbook my highlighted entry was almost invisible. If you go to System Preferences and Appearance and change the default High Light Color to Say Gold or your choice from Blue) the Checkbook highlighted entry becomes visible again. You do have to open and close Checkbook to the see the change.

I know Checkbook 2x is going to fix and add many features but now getting quite comfortable with the existing feature set in 1.x.

I miss two things One I have mentioned previously a balance column. The other which already exists and works well is the Running Balance at the bottom. The only problem is that the font size preferences have no effect on this part of the Application.

The highlight color was set to blue and the current selection in CheckBook was almost invisible? We haven't seen that in our testing here. Do you think you could send us a screenshot of that happening? If you can, send it to support@splasm.com .

There's one situation in Leopard that we know of where the selection is almost invisible, and that's immediately after right-clicking or Control-clicking an Entry. At that point, and only in the clicked list or table, the highlight becomes a rectangular frame instead of a solid fill with rounded ends. Our code turns the selection's text white, with a slight shadow, so it's barely visible. We've tracked this condition to a change Apple made in the way contextual menus are handled in Leopard and corrected for it in our latest builds here, which we can make available to anyone in need.

Happy to send a screen shot. I will email it to support. The behavior is not consistant. Once it happens every row you click on exhibits the behavior. If I change the Highlight color to Gold it does not happen as often.

I would be happy to test any builds. I am running Leopard 10.5.1 and am using a Powerbook g4 1.67ghz 17 1.5 gb of ram.
