default "type"

can I change the default "type" from "none" to "check"? Kind of a pain when adding a bunch of checks to have to change this each time

Sure. Select Edit Account... from the Account menu at the top of your screen to reveal the Account Options sheet. Click on the Types tab at the top right of the sheet and you will see the controls for managing your Types. Default Types are set using the popup buttons just below the list of Types.

cool, I'm sold. Been using Quicken and MS Money for years, just to balance my check book, which is all I use it for.

This is much cleaner.
