I found a typo in a reconciled transaction and need to edit the amount (numbers transposed)... how can I do that? The amount is greyed out.

When the Amount of an entry is grayed-out, it means the entry has been Reconciled and, therefore, changing it would compromise a past Reconciliation. But, even still, you can Unreconcile the entire Account, to make editing the Amount of any Reconciled entry possible—head to the Account menu and select the Unreconcile menu option, to go that route. Just keep in mind that you'll potentially need to add an adjustment to the Account, in order to make it possible to Reconcile it again, later.
