In the meantime, if you have the content in iTunes, any edits to the start and end times you make there are honored by ABB. Get Info on the track, and click the Options tab.
This totally rocks.

It would be nice if ABB had simple editing features for trimming the beginnings and endings of audio files, or the ability to use an external editor like Sound Studio or Audacity (or whatever the user specifies in preferences) with the result of the external editing being used in place of the original file. |

We have had trimming in mind for a future release of Audiobook Builder for some time now. We'll bump that up on the request list. |
