Hi,

happens on my MacBook Pro and my MacMini (Intel).

ABB (.4) crashes after building a book, no matter what I try to do (quitting or building another book).
Once the book is build I get the box where it I have the choice to go to itunes or press ok. No matter what I choose, as soon as want to quit the app or build another book I get the question if I want to close the current project or keep working on it. If I say close the app crashes.

Really bad about that is, that sometimes the app crashes so bad that I loose all my settings and even have to reenter my serial number.

I tried to delete the plist and therefor start with new settings but no luck. ABB keeps crashing.

Any hint what is going on?

We haven't seen this issue before but we can get a better idea of what's happening behind the scenes by examining a couple of things from your Mac. Can you send the following to support@splasm.com?

1. Your Audiobook Builder crash log. This is located at /Users/[your username here]/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Audiobook Builder.crash.log.

2. A System Profiler report. You can create one of these reports by launching /Applications/Utilities/System Profiler.app and selecting Save from its File menu to save the report to your Desktop.

After Juergen sent his crash log and System Profiler report we found that we were incorrectly handling Audiobook Builder's "Process Complete sound" setting when set to "None". This led to an exception at the very end of the build process. The exception prevented Audiobook Builder from realizing it was truly finished building, "things" got out of order and would later fall apart when Juergen tried to create a new Project, resulting in a crash. We adjusted for the issue in the latest build of Audiobook Builder 1.0.5 and Juergen confirmed it now works properly.
