I have been using ABB for a while and find it to be a wonderful application.

I have this weekend encountered an issue with one title I'm converting to m4b that I have never experienced. The title that I'm working on consists of 32 chapters: Opening, Lessons 1-30, and Closing. After selecting all of the audio files and dragging them into ABB and filling out all of the information for the title I press the Build an Audiobook button. The resultant file is now in itunes. When I hit play in itunes the program starts with Lesson 1, meaning the Opening file has been skipped. The itunes chapters menu indicates that Opening is being played. If I advance to Lesson 1 the audio begins somewhere in the middle of the next file. All of the subsequent files are played from a "random" place, not the beginning as with the original audio files.

When I moved onto the next audiobook, everything worked as expected.

Any thoughts on why this is occurring or how to correct this issue?

I apologize that you haven't gotten a response sooner. There is an overlap with forum posts and email support and occasionally issues get missed. Are you still having issues with your sort and build order? If so, the best course of action would be to email us at support@splasm.com so we could work towards retrieving the offending project file and give it a study.
