Is ANYONE having this problem. I've been doing the same thing for more than 10 years, when I've completed a build, I'm asked to 'save," and when I go to the BOOKS tab (used to be part of iTunes, now it's own separate entity) the book would be there, ready to be loaded onto my iPhone.

No longer.

AND APPLE SPENT TWO HOURS WITH ME trying to get it to happen also!
Even though it was a third party software.

Anyone have any thoughts? I'm speaking with a level 2 Apple specialist this afternoon.

Books is still picking up audiobooks built from the latest version of Audiobook Builder here, so I wonder if maybe the setting to add to Books has been turned off.

There are two settings that come into play as you build: one for where an audiobook is saved and another setting for whether to add the audiobook from that location to Books. It sounds like the first is set to ask for a location on your Mac to save to before each build. That won't affect whether the audiobook is added to Books, though, which is where the second setting comes in. Let's check on that setting:

1. Open Audiobook Builder.

2. Go to the Audiobook Builder menu, at the top left corner of your screen, and click the Settings... menu item.

3. Next to Save Audiobooks to, at the top of the window, there's a menu button, where you select where to save to, and an Add to Books checkbox. If the checkbox isn't checked, there's your culprit. Put a checkmark there and your next build should send the audiobook to Books.

Was the checkbox unchecked before, by any chance?
