Hi

Since a while ABB does not save additional genres anymore. This is a bit tedious to have to type everything in again every time, especially when you know that ABB has taken new genres and saved them in the dropdown list.

There is nothing in the settings that can be adjusted.

What could be the reason, does anyone have an idea?

Mac OS Catalina last version
ABB version 2.2.2

Thank ou and best regard
Stephan

That's strange that new Genres aren't being saved for you. We're not seeing similar issues here and haven't heard from any other users with similar issues, so we'll want to gather some additional details to try to understand what's causing this unique problem there. Can you start by Restarting your Mac, then creating a new Project, inputting a new item into the Genre field, quitting, taking care to hit Save, and reopening the same Project to immediately check for the new item in the Genre list? Supposing the latest Genre item doesn't appear, we'd like to take a look at a System Information report generated just after the failure for the Genre to save.

You can create the System Info report by going up to click the Apple menu at the top of the screen while holding down the Option key on your keyboard, clicking System Information..., and then choosing Save... from the File menu once the System Information window shows. Attach the resulting file to a message to us at support@splasm.com and we’ll have a look.

Hi Allan

I'm sorry for the late response.

Creating a new project solved the problem, so I know what to do should it happen again.

kind regards from Switzerland
Stephan
