This is a brilliant alternative to the old Microsoft Money Program which although unsupported, I still used until moving over to my first Macbook pro. It wasn't easy finding a simple everyday banking program for use on an apple machine. This most certainly fits the bill, although it was quite a different learning curve to get to grips with. Although don't worry, as there are lots of help built into this little beauty. once you have Checkbook open, look at the top of your screen, and click the Help box, the dropdown will give you access to Support, Forum, Video tutorials, etc. So don't be shy, give it a try. With this I can manage my different Bank current accounts, savings accounts, premium bonds, ISA's. Personal accounts, joint accounts. You can just run a single checking account, or manage multiple accounts, set up scheduals for direct debits, make transfers between accounts, obtain and print off summery sheets etc. etc. This has way more features than I actually use, and the guys in the background are continually makeing improvements and keeping things well up to date. If you feel there is something missing or could help others, then why not contact Support with your suggestions. it's all in the little Help Box. Enjoy!

I switched from Quicken to this app several years ago - I was apprehensive but I was impressed almost immediately. The absolute best advantage of buying the Pro is the customer support and satisfaction- the owner has personally woked with me a couple times when I lost my data through no fault of the program and answered my questions, spent hours on the phone with me and all for no charge!! He is the reason you have nothing to fear if you should need help. I give checkbook Pro a 100% thumbs up! If you are thinking about a checkbook, go for it ! It is easy and you will not be sorry!

I spent an entire afternoon trying to find a simple checkbook register that I wouldn't have to pay a subscription fee for. This is it! I love it, it's very simple and intuitive.
