Hello,

Many people include a command line in the gui application

/Application/AudioBookBinder.app/Contents/Resources/abbinder

Then I can upgrade the application using the AppStore and I get both versions.

For what it is worth.

Thanks

You're looking for a way to update from the App Store and through our site?

Hi Allan,

I'm looking for a single step upgrade process.

Packaging abbinder in AudioBookBinder.app makes the upgrade process a single step with no need to manage separate files like abbinder:

drag AudioBookBunder.app onto /Application.

To get abbinder working, I would need to run a one time manual step, but this is common to tools like textmate, sublime, and gitx:

Code:
ln -s /Applications/AudioBookBinder.app/Contents/SharedSupport/bin/abbinder /usr/local/bin

If someone is writing a command line script to use abbinder, chances are they are comfortable with the command line and able to run the above command.

Did that make any sense?

Thanks again for the great tool,
Keenan

So, are you actually talking about Audiobook Binder? We make Audiobook Builder. Unfortunately, in Audiobook Builder, the support for command line tool add-ons like you seem to be talking about just isn't there yet, so we'd have to look into adding it.
