To make accounts obviously distinct when entering data, it would be lovely to have some vivid color marker I could associate with each account to tell me which account I have up on the screen. That little bit of text way up at the top of the broad grey banner is not enough to keep me on the straight and narrow. Could the grey banner be variable in color? Just hate it when i enter several entries and then discover I put them in the savings account and meant to put them in the checking account. Argh!

Great program!

Well, in the Accounts drawer, select an account. Go to Edit Account and look at the icon. click the little arrow, and you can you can change it to any of a number of preset icons or even a custom icon. When that account's icon is selected, the icons on the Entry page will change to match the one selected in the drawer.

It would be nice if those four buttons could be a variable size and moveable to, say the center of the bar.

Yes, it is nice to be able to change the icons. But I am thinking of being able to change the color of some significant portion of the Entry section itself, like the big pale grey rectangle at the top. Or maybe a portion of it....

It's an interesting idea to make it possible to change the top gray portion of the main window. That's something we can add to the feature request list we maintain!
