Quite often I'll start typing in part of the category for a transaction, then realize I don't remember how I defined the category or sub-category names.
At this point I'll click on the arrow to see the full list of categories. This gives me a full list of categories, but the list always starts with the first category in alphabetical order (auto, bank, clothing...). This means I have to scroll a long ways down to get to the categories that interest me.
It would be much better to bring up the same list of categories, but at a point in the list that matches what I've just typed in. This would leave me with very little scrolling, and save me time and effort.
