I guess we're still waiting for scheduled events to show up automatically in the main page, x days ahead? They still have to be checked off manually to commit? I really thought this was one change that was universally desired.

Yep, unfortunately, the automatic committing of Scheduled Entries didn't make the cut this time,. It was quite a bit behind on votes in comparison to all the other great features that got implemented. We still hope to eventually get that added to a future release, though!

I guess "money bug" didn’t get many votes either, based on "features" included in the latest version... #sigh

I didn't get a ballot. You are confusing "suggestions" with "votes." If someone likes a recommendation posted here, he or she has no obligation or even a need to applaud in writing. Hell, if posts were votes, you would have included kitchens in the latest release.

We count legitimate suggestions that come in through email or show up as request on here as votes (sorry to all those spammers looking for the kitchen feature inclusion). Our feature request list has several hundred items on it—we have to have some system of sorting through those items, so when something gets requested by hundreds of users, that becomes a higher priority while items with under ten votes get glossed over for the time being. Even with a ballot sent out to every user, there would still be no obligation to submit a vote (although setting-up a poll wouldn't be a bad idea).

We're trying to get to everything that's requested but that's gonna take time! We understand that the automatic committing of Scheduled Entries is very important to many folks, so we're still taking that into consideration for a future release.

As for the iOS version, that's definitely received tons of votes. That's why the Sync features made it into the recent update, partially to pave the way for the app's release. Now that that groundwork is in place, we're right on schedule for having a mobile solution ready. There's not much more to say on that topic that isn't covered in Keith's final post here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2480&start=60
