CheckBook Pro is a live saver for me as a self employed person, it makes managing my accounts possible without resorting to a full blown and over complicated accounts package.

Having said that there are a few things that would be good to see in future versions. Now some of these have been mentioned before, so bare with me...

1. Account Folders with Totals - It would be good to be able to put - for example- all my long term savings and Investment accounts in a folder and just have total of the accounts inside. You could also give the option to exclude the folder from the total shown for All Accounts.

2. Multi Account Reports - Being able to generate a report across multiple accounts would save me ages, and lots of paper, when I do my expenses.

3. Greater Category Control - Being able to create and edit Categories from a central place with the option to disable creation from in the individual account record. When I go back over my years expenses I tend to find I have created two or three titles for the same thing. Also, when you start typing in the Category box and press the down arrow it would be nice to see the options sorted making existing options easier to find.

4. A Second Date on Transfers - When I transfer money between accounts the money leaves one account and arrives in the other on the same day, I wish it was like this in real life. It would be helpful to be able to change the date of one without it altering the other so that when it takes a week for funds to clear this is reflected in CheckBook.

That's it for now.

Keep up the good work.

Ali.

Oops, forgot one...

The split feature is good, but would be better if had the option to make each part of the split tax deductible instead of the all or nothing we have now, then I can buy something to eat at the till when I full the car up!

Cheers.

Ali.
