Is it possible to have entries entered into two accounts in one action and thereby cut my data entry in half?

Scenario is thus: some of my checking account or CC account entries are for a tennant's residence. I have a separate CBP account for the residence which keeps track of expenses versus payments from the tennant. I would like to enter a Home Depot debit once and have it recorded in both my CC account as well as the tennant's account (as a debit) in one action. I know I can link the accounts, but that makes a debit in my CC account register as a payment in the tennant's account. This is backwards from the intent.

Any suggestions to solve this? All I can come up with is to do the entries twice.

Thanks.

That's not a supported feature, at this time. The easiest option would be to create the entry in the first account and then copy/paste it into the other. To copy an item, be sure you're using the latest version, then select it and hit the Command and letter C keys on the keyboard simultaneously. Then, to paste it, after selecting the other account, use Command and V.

Ok, thank you for the input. Copy/Paste will make things a little easier.

Thanks
