Hi…

So, we tried this twice and got the same result twice.

We went and made a report, select the "Print" button from the tool bar.

Went to the pull down menu in the print dialogue box and selected "Save as PDF".

The computer hesitates and then we get the spinning beach ball of doom.

OS: 10.12
CheckbookPro: 2.5.12
MacbookPro late 2011
etc.

Hmm. Not sure what's going on. Could be a problem with your PDF or print services. Have you tried rebooting your computer? I use a 2009 Mac Book Pro and haven't encountered this problem when I prep CBPRO reports for my accountant using the "Save as PDF" print dialogue.

I never used reports in my previous finance app (KMyMoney), so had to look for it in CB Pro - the only thing I found is Summary - is that the one? Apologies if not - I only had this app for a month or so.

Anyway, clicked on the printer icon, selected Save as PDF, then noticed - 117 pages were ready to be printed. Clicked on Show more details, selected just a first page - done in an instant.

Maybe your system is trying to print hundreds of pages too?

MacBook Pro 17" (mid-2010)
macOS Sierra 10.12
CB Pro 2.5.12

Yah, no idea what was going on. Must've been one-off thing.
