I have downloaded the trial version of Checkbook, and it appears that I can create category reports for each of my accounts. However, is there a way to create a "global" category report that covers all my accounts? If not in Checkbook, does the possibility exist in Checkbook Pro?

In the accounts sidebar, be sure to select all accounts. You can then get reports for categories for all accounts. I dont have my CBP with me right now, but be sure that all accounts [or whatever it is called] is selected. It should be listed at the top of the accounts sidebar. Having inly one specific account selected will let you do reports in just that account.

So it sounds as if I will need to switch from Checkbook to Checkbook Pro in order to accomplish a Category Report across all accounts.

I dont have CB, just CBPro. The price is not that different, so I'd go pro. It's fairly cheap, anyway.
