While there's no preloaded "Category report" template option, it should be possible to get the information you're looking for in a custom Summary. For that, click the New button at the top of the Summary section. Then, just be sure you include Category subtotals, hit the Entry Detail button as the Style if you're interested in listing all the relevant Entries, and then, if you want to see just one specific Category, use the Filter options towards the bottom.
Also, for Entry lists, it’s possible to view all Entries grouped by their matching Category using the sorting options in the Entry section, which may also be useful for reporting on all Categories. Basically, all you need to do is hit the Category column header (the rectangle at the top of Categories that says ‘Category' in it). After that, everything will be listed together in alphabetical order by Category.
