I was wondering if there is a way to rearranging entries instead of reentering them.

Within the same account you can rearrange the entries by clicking on the column headers.

You can also rearrange the columns by dragging them around and add and remove them by using the icon top far right on the column header row.

Change an entry by double clicking it to bring up the entry box.

That only shorts by column, I want to move one entry up to a different location to match my bank statements. Is that possible?

currently it is not possible to arbitrarily sort same day transactions. We can add this to the feature requests and will consider it when we put together feature lists for future revisions of CheckBook. We do appreciate the feedback!
