Hello

It would be nice if in future, better the next, Version of Audiobook Builder the AAC-HE compression is implemented.
In Quicktime 7.6.3 / iTunes 9.0 is the HE-compression selectable.
The resulting files are only half the size of the standard AAC (LC) files.
For Audiobooks a great step forward...

Greetings
Holger

I second that - at low bit rates the quality of Low Complexity AAC isn't a patch on HE-AAC. I bought a copy of ABB this week and was rather surprised that HE-AAC isn't already an build option. Greatly looking forward to its inclusion in the next update! :)

3rd'd. HE should be in already. It's ideal for audiobooks.

Hey guys, just wanted to say that we've got HE-AAC on our list of feature requests and we plan to work on it in the future. It'll take some time to work in, though - Audiobook Builder encodes to an MPEG-4 file through QuickTime and there's no direct way for us to use HE-AAC going that route. There are ways around this limitation and then there are completely different ways to do this kind of thing...we'll see what we can do when we get to work on the next major update!

Thanks for letting us know what you'd like to see in Audiobook Builder - it's nice to have your input!
