Hi,
I have a 16CD rip of Lord of the Rings in my iTunes library.
I add the CD's using the add from iTunes button.
the defaults are save to iTunes folder and the tick box is checked.
8CDs in I get this..
There is not enough disk space to continue.
File: /Network/Servers/miniserv.devinefamily.org.uk/Users/rosie/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music/Compilations/The Lord Of The Rings_ The Fellowship Of The Ring [Disc 08]/8-15 Bk1, Ch12_ Flight to the Ford k.m4a
Required Space: 145951283
Available Space: 138887168

Obviously they are network drive (its my kids network account) served by a OSX Mavericks Server. The account has no storage quotas.. so I don't understand why its failing as the drive is 1TB in size and less than a quarter used.

Hope you can help

Thanks

Iain,

Because your Project file was being accessed on a remote server, you were probably dealing with a known Mavericks SMB (a common network protocol) compatibility issue. Basically, Apple made some big changes to how SMB is used on the latest OS that can mess up file sharing and that would be faced when accessing files on your server with SMB2. If you ever want to try working with Audiobook Builder over the server again, you might try forcing it to connect with SMB1 instead. For that, go into the Finder and hit Command + K on the keyboard—in the window that opens, you can type cifs:// followed by the RAID drive address or host name, followed by the share name.
