Just taken an avi file which i wanted to convert to run on Apple TV. The file plays successfully before conversion using VLC etc. Conversion to Apple TV H264 gives a file inserted into I-tunes and appears to run successfully. However the file plays in quicktime but only as a completely whte screen and similarly on the apple tv Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? thanks for your help Kevin |

Kevin, If you try to play the movie in QuickTime and you also get the white screen, it means you are missing a QuickTime component to properly play back the .avi. A good component to install that handles many commonly used formats is Perian, which you can find at http://perian.org/. Once you install that, make sure you quit all Media related applications and start ViddyUp! again and try re-processing your video. Let us know if this works for you, Kevin! |
