Hi all

I used to be able to convert swf files with Viddyup no problem. Now when I drag them they just appear completely black. Has anyone else experienced this?

The swfs are version 7 so there should not be any problems there.

My specs

ViddyUp 1.8.2
Mac OS 10.4.11
Quicktime 7.1.5

I installed the plugin that allowed me to convert flv files (which work fine btw) but I'm pretty sure the issue was occurring before that anyway.

Thanks in advance

I think QuickTime's support for SWF only went up to SWF 5. Somewhere in the QuickTime 7.1.x range Apple started disabling Flash/SWF support by default. You could enable it in the QuickTime preference pane in System Preferences. Somewhere around QuickTime 7.3 Apple removed SWF support entirely.
