Think of it!

What does this product do?

It takes a Video Clip and (squashes it down) to a format that fits on the iPod.

Eureka!
......................... "Clip-Sqush"

"i'd buy that for a dollar"

Here's a few to chew on...

VideoReins - Keeps with the cowboy theme

iVidVert - Contraction of "i" video converter

iVidizer - This one sort of rolls off your tongue

VidPress - Sounds a little "newsy", but its about video and pressing it down.

I love the name Podner! I'm sorry you have to change it!

Then name really depends on if you are going to change the logo or not.

If you are going on the same cowboy theme I would suggest the following:

Howdy
Yeehaw
Sundown
Sombrero
Colt45 (or your gun of choice, saying it can process it fast as a bullet)
Shotgun
Trigger
Doggie
Lasso
OK Corral or Corral
Mosie
Kemosabe

If you are going to change the logo then try these on for size:

Vivid
uPload (U upload to your iPod, so create a play on upload)
Prepit
MediaMixer
VideoSync

Good luck ... but to be honest Podner is better than all of these! ;-D

Thank you to everyone who supported this thread with name suggestions and goodwill. We think we have received enough to proceed to the next step - it's time to lock the thread and ponder Podner's new name.

We also think there's no better way to thank everyone who contributed than to change the rules of the contest. While we reviewed the name suggestions over the last week or so we began to realize a few things: some of you may have already registered Podner, others may have found Podner because of the contest but could not put off registering until the top five were announced, and there were so many good ideas that we felt like everyone deserved a prize just for helping out. So, we have decided to give everyone who submitted one or more unique name ideas their choice of either a free Podner registration or a free CheckBook registration. We will ask each contributor for their preference via email over the next few days. If you participated and have not received an email from us after Wednesday, March 8th, 2006, please contact us at customerservice@splasm.com.

Thanks again, folks. You've been great and we truly appreciate your help.
