This app is awesome, but it would great for it to evolve into a widget. Konfabulator, or Dashboard, or both. I would be among the many who would like the Brightness Control Widget.

I agree!
I just had laser eye surgery leaving me temporarily blinded by light; monitors are the worst! Every single other monitor in my office (2 pcs and one 17" apple) I could adjust the brightness low enough to be semi-tolerable, but I had unplugged my cinema screen as it just hurt too much. I could NOT BELIEVE Apple makes this product giving the user so little control over its settings. SO glad I found this!
